"God Signs My Paychecks" — Jaclyn Shaw on Unapologetic Wealth, Spiritual Conviction & Building a Business as a Holy Vessel
What if God signed your paychecks? Spiritual mentor, best-selling author, and speaker Jacqueline Shaw joins Brittany on the Mom Sweat Sanity Podcast for a soul-stirring conversation on unapologetic wealth, divine conviction, and what happens when you stop performing for the algorithm and start being the truth of who you are.
Jacqueline shares the "spiritual smackdown" moment she had three weeks postpartum that changed the entire trajectory of her life, why it took her 8 years to pick up the pen (and only 3 weeks to write the book), and how she went from running a multiple 7-figure business that left her exhausted on the beach with her kids — to building a brand entirely led by God.
This one is for the woman who has felt called to more but keeps shrinking, the entrepreneur tired of hustle-formula marketing, the mama who knows in her bones she's meant for impact, and anyone ready to stop apologizing for wanting wealth that creates real ripples in the world.

LIVE EVENT: The Hunger Code, Hormones & The Real Reason You Can't Lose Weight with Dr. Allana Polo, ND
This one is special. This episode was recorded live — in a room of 45 women at Seymour Golf & Country Club in North Vancouver — and the energy in it is unlike anything we've done before.
Dr. Allana Polo, ND is a naturopathic physician, founder of Polo Health & Longevity Centre in New Westminster, BC, and author of The Hunger Code. She has been in practice for over 15 years with a deep focus on women's health, weight loss, hormones, and menopause.
In this conversation we go deep on why the diet roller coaster keeps spinning — and what it actually takes to get off it for good.
In this episode we cover:
- The origin of The Hunger Code and why Dr. Polo has been thinking about this her entire life
- The six hungers — healthy hunger and the five unhealthy hungers — and how to identify which one is running the show for you
- Head hunger, heart hunger, habit hunger, hormone hunger, and hypersensitivity hunger — broken down in plain language
- Why perimenopause changes everything about how your body processes food, weight, and cravings
- The role of estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, insulin, and thyroid in weight gain that has nothing to do with what you're eating
- Why "calories in, calories out" is only one tiny piece of a much bigger picture
- The emotional and mental roots of disordered eating — and why the first three chapters of the book go there first
- How to start listening to your body again when social media and diet culture have completely drowned out your internal signals
- What a real support team looks like for women navigating this season of life — and why you cannot do it alone
- The one question every woman in perimenopause should be asking her doctor.
About this series: This episode is part of the live series — where The Mom Sweat Sanity Podcast and MOMentum Collective collide in real life. Real women, real rooms, real conversations. Stay tuned for what's coming next. 🖤

From Corporate Burnout to Coaching Parents: Andrea Barr on Career Pivots, Scaling a Business with Littles, and Designing a Life You Actually Love
If you've ever sat at your desk thinking this isn't it — this episode is for you. Today I'm sitting down with someone whose story is going to hit close to home for so many of you. Andrea Barr is a Certified Career and Life Coach for Parents, host of the globally ranked top 3% podcast All Figured Out, and a fellow North Vancouver mom in the thick of raising a 3 and 5 year old while building a business she genuinely loves.
After a decade in the corporate world and two major career pivots of her own — from advertising in Toronto to Aritzia's leadership development team to launching her own coaching practice — Andrea now helps ambitious parents figure out exactly what needs to shift so they can keep growing without losing themselves in the process.
This conversation went deep, went real, and honestly went places neither of us planned. We talked about what it actually looks like to scale a business with littles at home, why the answer is almost never quit everything and start over, and what happens when you finally stop swirling and start asking the right questions. Oh — and she said something out loud on this episode she's never even told her husband. You're going to want to stay for that one.
In This Episode We Cover:
- The two pivotal moments that forced Andrea to blow up her career path — and what she learned each time
- How becoming a parent brought clarity and urgency to decisions she'd been avoiding
- Why she niched into coaching parents specifically and what makes it completely different from regular career coaching
- The swirling thoughts problem — and how coaching helps you finally make sense of what you actually want
- Why the answer is almost never quitting your job, and what small shifts actually move the needle
- Rhythms vs. routines — and why a menu approach to your week works better than a rigid schedule
- What it really looks like to scale a business with a 3 and 5 year old at home
- The Breakfast Club — her monthly in-person community event and why she built it
- Why she's done saying "just" and "little" when describing her business
- The someday goal she's claiming out loud for the very first time
Rapid Fire Highlights:
- Morning person ☀️
- Daily sanity saver: washing her face
- Favourite North Van spot: United Strangers
- Best mom advice she ever received: "The best thing you can do for your kids is to enjoy your own life."
- Someday goal: pulling the kids out of school and traveling the world — and she's owning it

Be Boring. Be Consistent. Be Rich. Marketing Strategy That Actually Builds Your Business with Jessica Krewson.
If you've been showing up on social, posting consistently, and still wondering why nothing is moving — this episode is for you.
Brittany sits down with Jessica Krewson, founder of Design Crew, a marketing and graphic design agency she built from a literal zero moment: zero clients, zero funds, zero plan. Fifteen-plus years later, Jess has worked with multi-million dollar brands and developed a framework she calls aligned marketing — and it's not what most people think it is.
In this conversation, Jess gets refreshingly real about what's actually working in marketing right now, why your messaging is probably the reason your content isn't converting, and why the most successful entrepreneurs she's worked with spend 80% of their time in vision and content creation.
In this episode you'll learn:
- What aligned marketing actually means (beyond the buzzword) and how to find the sweet spot between what lights you up and what your clients desperately need
- Why being "boring" with your content is actually the goal — and how repetition builds trust faster than anything else
- The 2am problem: how to tap into the exact words your ideal client uses so your messaging stops falling flat
- The biggest difference between entrepreneurs who are just posting versus those who are actually building a business
- Why your email list is the one asset you actually own — and how to use a lead magnet to grow it
- When to bring in support, how to delegate strategically, and why you should do it before you feel ready
- How trial reels work on Instagram and why they're a smart way to test content with a cold audience
- The role of AI in modern marketing and how to use it without losing the human element that makes your brand irreplaceable

There's still hidden shame behind the word peptide. We're ripping it off today. What they actually are, who they're for, and why half the women taking them are getting it dangerously wrong. — with Dr. Sienna Olson & Michelle Kilduff
_________________________
Peptides are everywhere — and almost no one is talking about them honestly. In this episode, I sit down with two women I trust on this topic more than just about anyone: Dr. Sienna Olson, practicing chiropractor and peptide coach out of the US, and Michelle Kilduff, Canadian nutrition and fitness coach turned peptide therapy coach. We all met through the MCM Mastermind, and the minute the three of us got on a call together I knew this conversation had to hit the mic.
We go there. The shame still wrapped around the word peptide. The "miracle drug" narrative around GLP-1s that's already collapsing in front of us. Why so many women are on the wrong peptide at the wrong dose with no one actually coaching them through it. What the Canada/US accessibility gap really looks like in practice. Why "the math ain't mathin'" for so many women in perimenopause — and what peptides can (and absolutely cannot) do about it.
We also get into the stacks — Glow, Tirzepatide, BPC-157, Tessamorelin, CJC — the real results, the bee-sting reality of injecting them, and why your lifestyle has to get harder, not easier, once you add peptides to the mix. I also share my own year-and-a-half microdose journey with GLP-1s, how I actually gained two pounds of muscle while on them, and what having emergency appendicitis six weeks ago taught me about how fast the foundation can slip.
If you're peptide curious, already taking one and spiraling in silence, or just sick of being told half-truths by people selling you a vial — this one is for you.
What we cover
- Why peptides still carry a weird shame (and the exact narrative that's keeping women in the dark)
- What a peptide actually is — and why GLP-1s are only one chapter of a much bigger story
- The GLP-1 rebound effect nobody warned women about
- Who peptides are actually for — and who absolutely shouldn't touch them yet
- The Glow Stack (GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500) — what it does, what the bee-sting feels like, and why Sienna can't put it down
- Tirzepatide, food noise, and the moment Michelle says it "cracked my soul open"
- Tessamorelin vs. CJC for muscle retention and recovery (Wonder Woman energy, per Michelle)
- Cycling on and off peptides — why receptor desensitization matters more than your IG feed is telling you
- Canada vs. US access: the questions you must ask any research-based company before you inject anything they ship
- Red flags when sourcing: sterility reports, third-party testing, label language, and companies that rebrand every six weeks
- Why coaching with depth matters — and why "here's your protocol, email me in a week" is how women end up in the heroin chic 2.0 pipeline
- My personal microdose GLP-1 journey: 5% body fat down, 2 lbs of muscle gained, and what appendicitis taught me about staying strong through it
- How to tell if a peptide provider is actually watching your blood work — or just writing a script
Stand-out moments you'll want to clip
- "We're going through a glow up right now." — Sienna on the evolution of the wellness toolbox
- "It is the wild wild west right now." — Michelle on the state of peptide misinformation
- "It's kind of like the gas to the fire that your system needs." — Sienna on how peptides actually work
- "Don't Google, don't go ask ChatGPT, you come to us — do not spiral, we got you." — Michelle on what depth coaching looks like
- "This is not what this journey looks like. This is supposed to enhance everything you're already doing — not to the point where you're just rotting." — Sienna on the desperate-housewife GLP-1 trap

We Raised Him to Leave… But I Wasn’t Ready for This
This one is personal.
Because somewhere along the way… they grow up.
And no one really prepares you for these milestones—
the ones that don’t just pass… they land.
In this episode, I’m sharing what this season looks like in real time:
my son turning 18, graduating, and moving out to follow his dreams.
The pride.
The ache.
The quiet questions every mom asks herself:
Did I do enough? Did I get it right? Is he ready?
We move so quickly through the early years—
first steps, first days, packed lunches, busy schedules—
thinking this phase will last forever.
Until suddenly…
you’re standing in the “big ones.”
The ones that make them adults.
The ones that stretch you as a mother in a completely different way.
This episode is about:
- Letting go while still loving deeply
- Trusting what you’ve built over the years
- Watching your child become their own person
- And realizing… these milestones are yours too
If you’re a mom in the thick of it,
or you feel this season coming—
This will hit home. 🤍
Because we’re not just raising kids…
we’re raising humans.
And that matters more than anything.

I Went to a Rachel Hollis Event Alone… And It Shifted Everything
Last week, I walked into a room where I didn’t know a single person.
No safety net. No built-in circle. Just me… choosing to go anyway.
In this episode, I’m breaking down what really happens when you step outside your comfort zone and into a space that challenges how you think, who you surround yourself with, and what you believe is possible for your life and business.
After attending RISE: Elevate, led by Rachel Hollis, I was reminded of something powerful:
You don’t need to know exactly what you’re going to get from an experience… but if you go with intention, you will always walk away with something that moves you forward.
Inside this episode, I share:
• What it actually feels like to attend an event alone (and why it matters)
• The real reason getting in the right rooms changes your trajectory
• The 3 unexpected things you gain every time you say yes to growth
• Why you’re not stuck—you may just need a new environment
• How one conversation, one moment, or one realization can shift everything
This conversation is for the woman who knows she’s meant for more… but feels like she’s been hovering in the same place.
If that’s you, this is your reminder:
The next version of you doesn’t stay where it’s comfortable.
She puts herself in rooms that expand her.

The Questions That Actually Tell You Who You Are | Anything But Average Mondays
This one is a little different… and honestly, one of our favorites.
We hit record thinking it would be “short and sweet” rapid fire — but what came out was real life, real opinions, and the kind of conversations we’re all already having (or thinking about).
From guilty pleasures and confidence outfits to ideal days and bigger conversations around aging, choices, and what we actually value… this episode is light, honest, and unexpectedly grounding.
Because sometimes the simplest questions?
They tell you everything about how you’re living.
In this episode, we talk about:
→ Guilty pleasures and letting yourself just enjoy things
→ Beach vs. city vs. mountain (and what that says about you)
→ What actually makes you feel confident
→ The “ideal day” conversation — and why most of us are closer than we think
→ Living life by choice, not default
→ The truth about aging, beauty, and doing “too much”
→ Why women feel like things have to be hard (and questioning that)
→ ChatGPT, AI, and the reality of data (nothing is private anymore)
→ Voice notes vs texting (and what we actually prefer)
→ Sundays, routines, and creating space
→ Food cravings, hormones, and listening to your body
→ Group dinners vs one-on-one time — and protecting your energy
The underlying theme:
You’re not as far off from the life you want as you think.
Most of it comes down to:
→ the choices you’re making
→ who you’re spending time with
→ and how honest you’re willing to be with yourself
Take this with you:
Ask yourself the same questions we asked each other.
Not the polished answers.
The real ones.
Because your answers will show you exactly where you are…
and where you’re ready to go next.

Are Busy Friends Actually Better Friends?
This week on Anything But Average Mondays, Brittany and Christina are back with one of those conversations that starts with spilled coffee and somehow ends up in a very real conversation about friendship, capacity, busy seasons, and the pressure we put on ourselves.
They dive into the question: Are busy friends better friends?
And like most real-life conversations, the answer isn’t black and white.
From packed schedules and changing priorities to how friendship looks in different seasons of life, this episode is a reminder that being busy does not make someone a better friend — and being unavailable sometimes does not make someone a bad one either.
They also chat about travel life, being present in different environments, rest, relationships, screenshot chaos, eating habits when you’re home alone, simple protein-packed meals, and why so many women need to stop judging themselves so harshly.
This one feels like sitting in on a real girlfriend conversation — honest, funny, relatable, and full of little reminders we all need.
In This Episode
-
The hilarious reality of spilled coffee, too many drinks on the table, and thousands of screenshots
-
How many photos is too many photos on your phone
-
Why different seasons of life change how we show up in friendship
-
Are busy people better at making time because they schedule it
-
Why not taking things personally in friendship changes everything
-
The difference between being full and being overextended
-
FOMO of life and wanting to say yes to what matters
-
Why getting away changes your energy, presence, and relationship
-
What Brittany and Christina actually eat when they’re home alone
-
Simple thoughts on protein, creatine, leftovers, and easy food habits
-
A reminder to stop shaming yourself and trust that you’re doing the best you can
Key Takeaway
A good friend is not defined by how busy they are.
A good friend is defined by how they make you feel, how they show up when they can, and the grace they give in the seasons when life feels full.
We’re all doing the best we can with the capacity we have.
Less judgment. Less guilt. More grace. More honesty. More real friendship.
